The Sandlot follows Scotty Smalls, a shy and awkward boy who moves to California during the summer of 1962 and struggles to fit in. Everything changes when local baseball star Benny Rodriguez invites him to join a neighborhood sandlot team. As Scotty and his new friends spend their summer playing baseball, they experience unforgettable adventures, including a quest to recover a valuable baseball signed by Babe Ruth that ends up beyond a fence guarded by the legendary Beast.
